About us

Building inclusive technology.

Rainbow Coders was founded by developers who were tired of watching good projects fail for the wrong reasons.

Why we exist

Most software projects do not fail because the code was bad. They fail because nobody wrote down what was being built, nobody agreed what was out of scope, and nobody was accountable when the two sides disagreed six weeks in.

What we do differently

A systems analyst sits between the client and the developers. The requirement becomes a written brief with a scope, a figure and a timeline before anybody writes a line of code. Every change goes through the same route and gets an honest answer: in scope, or here is what it costs.

Fair to both sides

Members are engaged on the strength of their skills against a written brief, for an agreed number of hours, at their own rate. Clients get clarity before they commit. Neither side is asked to absorb somebody else's vagueness.
